PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (PNP – SKILED WORKERS)

The Provincial Nominee Program tries to get people from all walks of life to move to certain provinces and live there permanently. The provincial nominee programme is for people who have the skills, education, and work experience to help the province or territory that nominates them for permanent residence.

Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP) were made for skilled workers in the beginning. Because the skilled worker PNP worked so well, the programmes have changed. Each Provincial Nominee Program gives skilled workers at least one choice. Some are more geared toward certain types of people than others. For example, some are looking for people with experience in key jobs that are in demand in the province or territory. Some provinces also have programmes for workers with some skills but not all.

If you get a job offer from an employer in a province or territory where you want to live, you may be eligible for immigration through Provincial Nomination, which usually lets you get Canadian Permanent Residency faster than other programmes.

You must meet the requirements of one of a province’s programmes before you can apply for permanent residence in Canada through an eligible province. If you are then chosen by a province to become a permanent resident, you will apply for this status directly to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Before you choose a province, you should do some research to find out which one is best for you, both in terms of where you want to live and which one has the best programme with the best chance of success for you.

The following provinces offer the most popular and well-known of these programmes:

ALBERTA

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is for people who want to come to Alberta and help the economy grow. There are many ways to watch this show:

  • Employer Driven Stream
  • Strategic Recruitment Stream
  • Family Stream
  • Self-Employed Farmer Stream

BRITISH COLUMBIA

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, or BC PNP, has two main groups: Skilled Worker and Entrepreneurs. The BC PNP wants to get applications from people who can help the already strong economy in British Columbia.

NOVA SCOTIA

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program is very different from the other provinces’ programmes. It is one of the few ways to get nominated that doesn’t require you to have a job offer first, as long as the job you want to do is on a list of jobs that are in demand right now. The Regional Labor Market Demand Stream is the name of this stream. Other things going on in the province include:

  • Skilled Worker Stream
  • Family Business Worker Stream.

SASKATCHEWAN

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has streams that are directly related to the province’s economic and labour force needs:

  • International Skilled Worker Category;
  • Saskatchewan Experience Category;
  • Entrepreneur and Farm Category.

Please feel free to contact us should you have inquiries about any of the other Provincial Nominee Programs.

HOW PRIMEX CAN HELP?

PRIMEX cares about its clients and will always find a way to help. Our goal is to make sure that your application, no matter what it is for, has the best chance of being accepted. The process to become a Provincial Nominee has two steps. First, you have to apply to the province, and then you have to apply to the federal government. This means that you have to fill out two large, separate applications before you can become a permanent resident. Also, each province’s nomination scheme is different and has different requirements and qualifications. Without the right help, it’s easy to get lost in how complicated these apps are. We can be counted on to:

  • Writing up the forms needed for both applications
  • Figure out the best way for you to go and which province gives you the best chance of succeeding
  • putting together the necessary supporting documents
  • A list of any other documents that, depending on your situation, can help your case
  • Writing important documents like contracts, letters of reference, and letters of confirmation
  • Send your application to both the federal and provincial governments
  • Keep in touch with the province and Citizenship and Immigration Canada about your case to make sure it is handled as quickly as possible and
  • Of course, our experts will be with you all the way.

There is always a way with PRIMEX!
